Plant Expansion / Construction

Kenmore Construction first started the rehabilitation and expansion of wastewater treatment plants in 1978. Through the years, Kenmore has gained the expertise to take on some of the most challenging treatment plant projects, a few of which are highlighted below. From complex design/build projects with ultraviolet disinfection systems to pump station rehabilitation projects, Kenmore has the expertise to complete almost any treatment plant project.

WWTP Expansion

Description The WWTP expansion included the installation of two 70' primary settling tanks, two 84' final settling tanks, and four concrete aeration tanks. This project also calls for the rehabilitation of the aeration system, the digester systemand the conveyor system. Finally, new sanitary and storm sewer will be connected to existing sewers and new water and gas services will be included in the rehabilitation of on-site buildings.

Description This project provided for the installation of a 90' diameter concrete digester tank and steel floating covers as well as digester heating and bio gas systems. Also included in this project is the installation of Two 42' diameter, glass lined, bolted steel trickling filter tanks with a recirculation pumping station.
Fishcreek WWTP Expansion

Description The fishcreek WWTP Expansion project called for the installation of new plant headworks including two mechanical bar screens and a grit removal system. The plant expansion also included a new oxidation ditch and orbal equipment, a recirculation pumping station, two secondary clarifiers, and a new tertiary filter. This project also called for the installation of an ultra violet disinfection system, a new aerobic system, rehabilitation of the piping systems as well as building renovations.
